Hard to believe summer is halfway over but here we are. Had some amazing time vacationing in Maine and Outer Banks...drawing sand mandalas on the beach!!
I continue to do adjunct at VCU and Physical Therapy Faculty in their LEND program...super fun to support students. I am continuing to evolve Fit4Work as well as some other things to share. Most of all I've discovered an interesting jam with creating digital content and continuing to create content in the form of courses as well as innovating ideas!
Where to find me at conferences? Here you go:
November 5, 2022: VPTA, Marrion, VA: Get Out of Your Silo: Occupational Health Concepts Across Practice Areas. I'll be teaching a course with Julie Collier, who taught ME about occupational health many years ago...Its quite low cost and in lovely southwest VA! Please share with your physical and occupational therapy colleagues!

In addition to my clinical areas of interest around transition, I am very interested in how we can understand knowledge as we engage with each other to improve practice. Join me for the sessions below to explore these ideas:
November 18-20: Portland, Oregon
Conversations that Count: Strategies for Leading a Dynamic Journal Club
Gas in the Tank: Fueling Innovation through Communities of Practice
February 22-25, 2022
Be a Changemaker! Facilitating Social Justice in Your Community: Book Club
Edition. In this book club style session Dr Mica Mitchell and I will discuss The Next Contagion.
If you are looking for specific Fit4Work courses, I'm now collaborating with Carlo Vialu Apply EBP for synchronous and asynchronous offerings. We are slowly updating content to provide you with more in depth understanding of transition and Fit4Work concepts. Course 1 has been released and course 2 will be ready this Fall!
As you continue to do the very valuable work of transition, the Fit4Work Activity Program is also available for you! Share below far and wide!
