Fit4Work, 4th Edition is PUBLISHED!

Edition 4 is LIVE! Available in Kindle and in paper form, NOW! The most exciting part for me is fully articulating the “why” of lack of employment and fulfillment for some of he most vulnerable of our populations and all of the many ways we can change opportunity, programs and systems to make things better.

But what's in it you ask?

  1. This book gives you a lot of background into why we need to change how we support in transition. You'll do a deep dive into the newly described worker health risk model to understand why youth with disabilities are so at risk for poor health and work outcomes and what you can do about it.

  2. I explicitly share how to evaluate and intervene at Tier 1, 2 or 3.

  3. One of the barriers to implementation is having the time to create promotional and instructional materials. The fourth edition includes a qr code to materials you can download and use right away!

If you have a previous version, this one is dramatically different than 1 and 2 and much improved from 3. Head on over to my Fit4Work Activity program website to get ideas, and if you need more information the book is the place to get it.

Thank you to my reviewers, friends and family who helped me get this over the finish line with your help, emotional support and tolerating all my venting! Thank you @hannahjohnson52 @sarahcruser @theaphpt Mary Beth Baron, OT; Tammy Blake OT, OTD, Karen Greeley PT, DSc; Deb Rose, PT, DPT; Jacob Gredvig, PT, DPT; Gillian Stewart, PT, DPT; Matt Zellmer, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC, CSCS
