Welcome 2022!

As I write this note to you, Omicron is raging and I am recovering...no amount of vaxxing and boosting and testing prevented my family from getting COVID this Christmas! I'm hoping we can get back to school and be healthy this winter! In the mean time, here's a few things I would like to share with you!





I attended APPTAC and sourced some ideas that are important for those of us working in Secondary. Its hyperlinked and meant to be a curated resource to keep you up to date!















I collaborated with Eva Jaber and Spoorthi Nadkarni.... on a Deck Squat series! The deck squat is a great functional, whole body movement that helps our students have the body strength, agility and balance needed for work. You can scale this activity by choosing to have students complete one of 3 levels and incorporate the verbal and visual cues needed. This document:

  1. Is easily incorporated into instruction

  2. Includes instructional videos

  3. Includes visuals that are cue cards that can be printed
