Fit4Work live offering!

Updated: Mar 17, 2021

Not much live offerings this Spring, life feels complicated! I have lots of synchronous trainings broken into smaller sessions to support your learning!

I am super excited to present "Live" online with my colleague, Amanda Iannotti, OTD, OT. at the Child and Youth Symposium. Together, we are sharing "Fit4Work Unplugged" on March 12, 2021 from 1-3:30. The session will be 90% interactive where we will talk, discuss cases and reflect on work capacity concepts. There will be pre work, emailed to registrants before the conference. And conveniently shared with you at the bottom of this email. You can listen, read, and peruse the background information so you are ready to engage on March 12!

Objectives: The learner will:

  1. Review ergonomic and health evidence that supports the four reasons why we all need to be Fit4Work.

  2. Discuss how to appl

y concepts (Social Security Exertional Scales, FCE, evaluation, functional movement) to support youth with disabilities in schools and communities.

  1. Articulate 3 ideas of how to introduce Work Capacity evaluation/intervention concepts to their schools and communities.

In this same conference, I will also be co presenting on Physical Therapy Evaluation including Fit4Work evaluation tools, and a Communities of Practice Session.

This course benefits Virginia OT Association and the tuition is EXTREMELY reasonable! Session details here, fees, and registration here.

Hope to see you at VOTA!

Connie
